Il secondo libro della quadrilogia per organo sui Misteri del Rosario. MISTERI GLORIOSI
La musica è uno dei codici comunicativi con cui l'uomo, fin dagli albori della civiltà, ha espresso le proprie emozioni, ha creato identità culturali, ha stretto legami relazionali, ha trasmesso valori. La musica, dunque esprime l'uomo nella sua totalità alla stessa maniera, se non talora maggiormente, del linguaggio verbale, in quanto ha la capacità di manifestare, al pari della poesia, ciò che le parole spesso fanno fatica ad esprimere.
In questo contesto "esplorativo" la quadrilogia per organo sui Misteri del Rosario (nello specifico il secondo libro sarà disponibile a breve in tutte le librerie e negli store on-line dedicato ai "Misteri Gloriosi") si muove tutta l'opera.
Nel primo libro dal titolo Misteri dolorosi, uscito a Marzo del 2020, nelle cinque sezione della "suite spirituale" c'è la voglia di vivere il grande insegnamento di Cristo, il Figlio di Dio, che si è fatto uomo per ridare l'uomo a Dio. Pertanto la composizione prende spunto dall'agonia di Gesù che soffre nel Getseman, dalla flagellazione inflitta a Gesù, dalla corona di spine, da Cristo con la croce sulle spalle ed infine dalle parole di Gesù sulla croce: "Dio mio, Dio mio, perchè mi hai abbandonato?"
Nel secondo libro della quadrilogia si rivisitano attraverso il linguaggio musicale i cinque Misteri Gloriosi:
La risurrezione;
L'ascensione;
La discesa dello Spirito Santo
L'Assunzione di Maria;
L'inconorazione di Maria.
Se nel primo libro l'inventiva melodica è appositamente creata ad eccezione della quinta sezione dove lo spunto melodico è tratto dal corale protestante adottato anche dalla chiesa cattolica con il titolo "Signore dolce volto" oppure "O capo insanguinato", in questo secondo libro tre sezioni su cinque traggono lo spunto melodico dal canto gregoriano. Più precisamente nella seconda sezione il tema è tratto dall'antifona "Ascendo ad patrem meum et patrem vestrum". Nel terzo mistero la melodia del "Veni Creator Spiritus" ispira l'intera sezione. Infine nel quinto mistero il tema del "Salve Regina" è proposto con sezioni accordali e sezioni fugate.

Music is one of the communication codes with which man, since the dawn of civilization, has expressed his emotions, has created cultural identities, has tightened relationship ties, has transmitted values. Music, therefore, expresses man in his totality in the same way, if not more often than verbal language, in that he has the ability to manifest, like poetry, what words often struggle to express.
In this "exploratory" context, the organ quadrilogy on the Mysteries of the Rosary (specifically the second book will be available shortly in all bookstores and online stores dedicated to the "Glorious Mysteries") the whole work moves.
In the first book entitled Painful Mysteries, released in March 2020, in the five sections of the "spiritual suite" there is the desire to live the great teaching of Christ, the Son of God, who became man to give man back to God. Therefore the composition is inspired by the agony of Jesus who suffers in the Gethsemane, by the flagging inflicted on Jesus, by the crown of thorns, by Christ with the cross on his shoulders and finally by the words of Jesus on the cross: "My God, God my, why did you abandon me? "
In the second book of the quadrilogy the five Glorious Mysteries are revisited through musical language: The resurrection; Ascension; The descent of the Holy Spirit The Assumption of Mary; Mary's coronation.
If in the first book the melodic inventiveness is specially created with the exception of the fifth section where the melodic inspiration is taken from the Protestant choir also adopted by the Catholic church with the title "Sweet gentle face" or "Bloody leader", in this second book three sections out of five draw the melodic cue from Gregorian chant. More precisely, in the second section the theme is taken from the antiphon "Ascendo ad patrem meum et patrem vestrum". In the third mystery the melody of the "Veni Creator Spiritus" inspires the whole section. Finally in the fifth mystery the theme of the "Salve Regina" is proposed with chordal sections and fugate sections.
